Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by the Angoria Hotel ("The Hotel"). Any special agreements or contracts provided by The Hotel within the scope permitted by law shall take precedence. Any matters not stipulated in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by law and generally established customs. These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time.

1. Location

The Hotel, located at: 402 W Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, TX, is owned by an independent third-party (the "Owner") for which The Hotel acts as an agent.

2. Guest Party

The “Guest Party” includes a guest of The Hotel and any accompanying persons. The guest is responsible for all members of the Guest Party.

3. Maximum Occupancy

The maximum occupancy of the Hotel Room is four (4) adults for double queen rooms and two (2) adults for single king rooms, including suites.

4. Visitors

Only members of the Guest Party are permitted to stay past 10:00 PM in the Hotel Room. Any Visitor allowed by the Guest must vacate the premises by 10:00 PM and is the sole responsibility of the Guest.

5. Term of the Agreement

The Reservation Period begins at check-in time, 3:00 PM, on the check-in date (the "Check-in Date") and ends at 11:00 AM on the checkout date (the "Checkout Date"), collectively the “Reservation Period". Any extension of the booking extends this Agreement accordingly.

The Hotel acknowledges that Guest may request early check-in, and will endeavor to accommodate such requests based on room availability. However, early check-in is subject to the discretion of The Hotel and cannot be guaranteed. Any early check-in requests should be made in advance and will be confirmed by The Hotel if feasible.

6. Damage

Guests must report any damage or issues with the Hotel Room upon arrival or occurrence. Guests are responsible for any damage or loss during the Reservation Period.

7. Incidentals

Guest shall compensate The Hotel for any damages to The Hotel caused by willful misconduct or negligence on the part of Guest, Guest Party, or any Visitors, including but not limited to facility repair costs and lost sales opportunities ("Incidentals").

8. Late Checkout Fee

Unless permission is specifically granted by The Hotel, any Guest who fails to checkout by the Checkout Time will be charged at a rate of $100 per hour beyond the Checkout Time. Checkout can be completed via the Guest Gateway, front desk, or simply vacating the room.

9. Hotel Rules

Guest Party and any Visitors must adhere to the Hotel Rules, attached as Exhibit A, at all times during the Reservation Period.

10. Access

Guests may check-in at the Front Desk during Front Desk hours listed below. After hours, Guests must use the contactless check-in process.

Hours for the major facilities of The Hotel are as follows. These hours may be temporarily changed when doing so is necessary and unavoidable. The Hotel shall take appropriate measures to notify Guests of such changes:

  • Front Desk:                                                                        7:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily
  • Indoor and Outdoor Lounge (Coffee/Bar):         7:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily
  • Fitness Area:                                                              24/7 daily during Reservation Period
  • Guest Access to Hotel Room:                                   Check-in time to Checkout Time
  • Hotel Access to Hotel Room: The Hotel may clean the Hotel Room at any time as deemed necessary. The Hotel may access the hotel room for purposes of maintenance, repair, legal inspections, and emergencies. The Hotel shall exercise these rights of access in a reasonable manner.

11. Parking

Guests may park in unoccupied standard parking spaces. Access to handicapped spaces requires a valid permit. The Hotel asks guests without electric vehicles to avoid parking in designated charging spots to accommodate those requiring electric vehicle charging. The Hotel is not liable for any Guest, Guest Party, or Visitor vehicles.

12. Payment

Reservation Charges: Authorized upon booking, charged upon Check-in Date, in US currency via credit or debit card.

Pet fee: Applies for non-service animals. $40 per pet. No more than 2 dogs allowed, and a maximum of 2 pets per room.

Security Deposit: At the discretion of The Hotel, a Security Deposit will be authorized two days before the Reservation Period or on the Check-in Date. Where applicable, such deposit shall be refunded within two days of the Checkout Date provided no deductions are made due to:

  • outstanding fees, fines, or Incidentals;
  • damage to the Hotel Room or contents thereof;
  • debris or other mess requiring excessive cleaning; or
  • any other cost incurred by The Hotel as a result of the Guest’s stay.

Should the amount due to The Hotel exceed the Security Deposit amount, any shortfall is charged to Guest's booking payment method.

13. Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise specified during booking, if a reservation is terminated in full or in part for reasons attributable to the guest, The Hotel shall adhere to the following policy:

  • If Guest cancels prior to seven (7) days before Reservation Period, 100% of the Reservations Charges and Fees will be released back to Guest.
  • If Guest cancels seven (7) days or less prior to Reservation Period, Guest will be charged for the first night including applicable taxes and fees.
  • If Guest does not show up for their Reservation Period, Guest will be charged 100% of the Reservation Charges and Fees.

Security Deposit will be refunded in the case that no fines, fees, or Incidentals are due.

14. Use of Common Areas

Use of the Hotel Room includes the use, during open hours, of any fitness or recreational facilities, swimming pool, hot tub, and other common areas associated with The Hotel whether indoors or outdoors (the "Common Areas"). Any and all references to the Hotel Room throughout this Agreement do not include the Common Areas unless otherwise specified by The Hotel.

15. Refusal or Termination of Reservation

The Hotel may refuse to host a potential guest or terminate Guest's reservation in the following cases, where a potential guest, current Guest, member of Guest Party, or any Visitors are referred to collectively as "Potential Guest":

  • When Potential Guest is deemed likely to or does break the law, disrupt public order, or disrupt other guests during their stay;
  • When Potential Guest's behavior poses a significant nuisance to other guests;
  • When Potential Guest clearly has a contagious disease;
  • When Potential Guest uses violence, threats, blackmail, or intimidation to make unjust or unreasonable demands against The Hotel or its employees, or is deemed to have engaged in any similar acts in the past;
  • When The Hotel is unable to accommodate guests due to natural disaster, facility malfunction, or other inevitable circumstances;
  • When Potential Guest is heavily intoxicated, exhibits or has exhibited extremely abnormal behavior that may pose a nuisance or a threat to other guests. Or when Potential Guest, due to diminished capacity or drug use, are unable to ensure their own safety and pose a risk or cause fear or discomfort to other guests;
  • When Potential Guest is extremely unsanitary or is wearing extremely dirty clothes that may cause a nuisance to other guests;
  • When Potential Guest smokes in a room, attempts to disable or otherwise tampers with fire alarms or fire safety equipment;
  • When Potential Guest engages in any of the Prohibited Acts listed in Section below.

16. Room Availability

If The Hotel is unable to provide a Hotel Room according to the reservation, The Hotel shall, with the understanding of the guest, strive to find accommodations at another hotel with as similar conditions as possible. If The Hotel is unable to find other accommodations, The Hotel will refund the Reservation Charges. However, this does not apply when inability to provide a Hotel Room is for reasons not attributable to The Hotel.

17. Prohibited Acts

The Hotel shall be entitled to claim compensation from Guest for any damages incurred as a result of a Prohibited Act or Acts. Guests shall not engage in a Prohibited Act, the guest is responsible for the Guest Party and any Visitors if they engage in any of the acts listed below:

  • Registering or providing false information when staying at The Hotel;
  • Using fraudulent payment methods such as stolen credit cards when staying at The Hotel;
  • Unauthorized acquisition or use of personal information belonging to a third party;
  • Using The Hotel for business purposes without permission from The Hotel;
  • Mass booking followed by mass cancellation or any similar acts;
  • Repeatedly making and canceling bookings without a justifiable reason, or any similar acts;
  • Impersonating The Hotel, or any act that could be mistaken for such;
  • Unauthorized access of systems or computers or any similar acts;
  • Sending or uploading harmful computer programs or any similar acts;
  • Removal, defacing, or destroying equipment within The Hotel or any similar acts;
  • Obstruction of business or damaging the reputation or brand of The Hotel by slandering, defaming, threatening, or harassing The Hotel or its staff, or posting inflammatory remarks on social networking sites, or any similar acts;
  • Violence, threats, extortion, or other coercive and unreasonable demands against The Hotel or its staff;
  • Any acts that cause or risk causing inconvenience, damage, or disadvantage to other guests, third parties, or The Hotel;
  • Any acts that infringe or risk infringing on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights, privacy rights, personal rights, or any other rights of other guests, third parties, or The Hotel;
  • Acts that violate or risk violating public order or law, or any criminal acts;
  • Any other acts deemed inappropriate by The Hotel.

18. Hotel Room Usage

  • The guest agrees to use the Hotel Room only for the purpose for which it is rented herein and in accordance with this Agreement.
  • The guest further covenants and agrees to maintain the Hotel Room in a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary condition, free of trash, junk, pet excrement, refuse, nuisances, or conditions that threaten or tend to threaten the health or safety of anyone.
  • The guest shall not permit any use of the Hotel Room which is inconsistent with or contrary to this Agreement, or which is contrary to applicable laws, rules, and/or regulations ("Applicable Laws").
  • No business may be conducted from the Hotel Room.
  • Items left with The Hotel will be disposed of within one (1) month of the Checkout Date unless otherwise specified. Concerning valuables and items containing personal information, The Hotel will attempt to contact the guest and work out a solution, if unsuccessful, items will be delivered to the nearest police station within seven (7) days of the date of discovery. Please be aware that food, drink, cigarettes, magazines, and other items detrimental to sanitation will be disposed of on the same day.
  • Housekeeping will be performed for checked-in guests only upon guest request. The Hotel retains the right to clean the Hotel Room at any time if it is deemed necessary.

19. Computer Networks

The guest and any Visitors shall use computer networks at The Hotel at their own risk. Service may be interrupted or terminated due to system failure or other reasons without prior notice. The Hotel shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of service interruption due to system failure or any other reason when using computer networks. If the guest or any Visitors use The Hotel's computer networks in any way deemed inappropriate by The Hotel that may cause or has actually caused damages, The Hotel will demand that the guest or Visitor cease use immediately and compensate for any damages incurred.

20. Insurance

The guest expressly recognizes that any insurance for property damage or loss which may be maintained on the Hotel Room does not cover the personal property of the guest, and that the guest is responsible for purchasing their own insurance for if such coverage is desired.

21. Reporting to Authorities

Should a guest or Visitor’s violation of these Terms & Conditions or other Hotel Rules warrant protection of the rights, property, or services of The Hotel or another guest, The Hotel will notify the police and other relevant authorities or otherwise take appropriate measures. Should The Hotel deem that a Guest or Visitor's health or life is in serious danger, The Hotel may call an ambulance, regardless of Guest or Visitor's permission.

22. Indemnification and Assumption of Risk

Guest expressly assumes the risk of harm to themselves, Guest Party, their property, and any Visitors arising from their use of the Hotel Room and the Common Areas. Guest shall indemnify and hold harmless The Hotel, the Owner, and any of The Hotel’s affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, sub-contractors, successors, or assigns from and against any liabilities or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from, related to, or in connection with Guest’s use of the Hotel Room and/or Common Spaces, including, but not limited to, any claim for liability for personal injury or damage or loss of property which is made, incurred or sustained by Guest, Guest Party, or any Visitors to The Hotel during the Reservation Period. The Hotel and Guest shall negotiate in good faith to resolve any problems arising in connection with use of The Hotel that cannot be resolved under these Terms & Conditions.

23. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with local laws of the City of San Angelo. The City of San Angelo shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any disputes (including court mediation procedures) regarding this Agreement between The Hotel and Guest.

Exhibit A: Hotel Rules

In order to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, throughout the Reservation Period, Guest shall, and shall ensure that Guest Party and any Visitors to The Hotel shall:

  • Maintain the Hotel Room at all times in a good and tidy condition;
  • Not use open flames for heating or cooking in the Hotel Room, corridors, or other Common Areas; excluding any appliance provided by The Hotel;
  • Not smoke inside any rooms (including vapes, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc.). If evidence of smoking or vaping are found in Guest's Hotel Room, Guest will be charged $150.00 for the additional room cleaning and room damage compensation, in addition to the Reservation Charges and Fees. Guest will dispose of any cigarette butts outside of the Hotel Room in a safe manner;
  • Ensure all Visitors vacate the Hotel Room and Common Areas of The Hotel by 10:00 PM;
  • Follow posted rules in Common Areas;
  • Not cause or create a nuisance or otherwise interfere with the quiet enjoyment of other occupants of the building in which the Hotel Room is located;
  • Not engage in any gambling, immoral acts, or acts that disrupt public safety within The Hotel;
  • Not distribute advertisements, promotional materials, leaflets, or brochures without The Hotel's permission;
  • Not photograph or film the inside of The Hotel for business purposes without The Hotel's permission;
  • Not move or rearrange any furniture or appliances inside of the Hotel Room;
  • Not enter storage rooms, machinery rooms, or other staff-only areas;
  • Comply with all Applicable Laws;
  • Not bring the following items into The Hotel:
    • Items that emit a foul or strong odor;
    • Excessively heavy objects or an excessive amount of objects;
    • Guns, swords, or other weapons;
    • Explosives, volatile oils, or other items that are flammable or easily ignited;
    • Other items deemed a threat to the safety of other guests.

Guests who fail to abide by these rules may be refused further lodging or use of The Hotel's facilities. Such guests may also be asked to pay for any damage caused to fixtures or equipment within The Hotel.
