Hotel bar is right by pool. Tucked away right in the middle of town. Great location. Great rooms. Close to everything. Bar has great unique drinks. Staff is very friendly.

This is a great hotel! Everything seems newer, well kept and cleanliness is top tier. The bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and pool area has a great vibe and the hotel staff is very kind. It is right next to a main road so it can be kind of loud but at night I had no problems.

I stayed here 2-3 nights a week for about a month. So obviously I approve. I have really enjoyed my stay here! The entire staff are so nice and welcoming. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. I found this place when I was looking to stay in the downtown area. Perfect location. Very safe. Several good restaurants/bar close by. So much better than staying at some boring Marriott, and it’s a better value, too. Great coffee in the lobby every morning. Full bar if you wanna have a drink. The road noise others have mentioned is not that bad. It is not very often and even so it dies down around 10pm.

This remodeled hotel hit every detail to make your stay wonderful. The rooms were filled with comfort details. The staff was extremely friendly and asking what they can do to make your stay wonderful. The coffee bar, the bar and pool and lounge area was put together to make your stay perfect. Definitely will come back to this area and hotel.

Absolutely beautiful Boutique Hotel . Perfect distance from any and all Fun spot in the city… Extremely clean rooms and believe me I know CLEAN because I am OCD lol but seriously!! Amazing place I wish I could give it 50 stars but Google only allows you to give a five star review…. Can’t wait to go back already booked my stay for next year!!!!

Very pretty. You can tell it's older but renovated. Nice hot tub. Cute rooms and super friendly staff with exceptional communication.

This is a little gem in San Angelo. The staff and ownership are great. They want to ensure you have a great experience. Yes it’s slightly noisy due to its proximity to a main thoroughfare, but it didn’t bother me. Love the bar and pool area. Great drinks and ambiance. This is my new spot when traveling to Angelo!

One of the Best Hotel Stays of My Life — No Joke ★★★★★ We were road-tripping to Marfa, high on desert dreams, when our car decided to dramatically break down in Sonora. The closest dealership? San Angelo. Cue the stress. We scrambled to find a hotel and boom — up pops The Angoria Hotel. From the outside, it looks like a clean, well-kept roadside spot. Nice, but nothing too wild. But don’t be fooled — the second you step inside, it’s giving boutique-luxury-meets-warm-hospitality in the best way. Tasteful decor, elevated touches, and a vibe that whispers “you’re safe now, darling.” Simon at the front desk was an absolute legend — kind, calm, and immediately helpful. He gave us a discount (because our car situation was tragic), along with local tips and just general good human energy. Then we met Janica, who truly felt like a friend in disguise. She went above and beyond, helping us figure out rental cars and where to go once we actually made it to Marfa. The room? Divine. Spotless, but not in that “everything smells like a chemical spill” way. I have a super sensitive nose, and there was zero bleachy funk. Just clean, fresh air and cozy everything. The lamps had dim and bright options (hello, mood lighting!), the shower had a wand (luxury!), and the decor was modern and beautiful — no cowboy stars or rustic wood signs in sight. The vibe? Pure thoughtfulness. Even the water pressure was right. The outdoor pool area felt like a chic little LA day club — minimal, calm, and unexpectedly lush. But here’s where it gets wild: our car was packed with food in coolers that we didn’t want to spoil. Not only did they offer to store everything in their fridge, they also helped us re-pack it the next day with fresh, handmade ice packs. Who does that?! That is next-level hospitality. And just to top it off, we met the owner — casually updating the Apple TV herself — who stopped to chat and thank us for being there. She treated us like old friends, and it made the whole experience feel even more personal. Breakfast the next morning was actually good (which, let’s be honest, is rare for hotels like this): delicious coffee, real granola, fresh fruit, and muffins that didn’t come from a giant plastic bag of sadness. I’ve stayed in fancy places that didn’t care half as much as The Angoria Hotel. Honestly, I think our car breaking down was some kind of cosmic blessing — just so we could land here and feel this cared for. TLDR: If you’re heading through San Angelo — or even near it — stay here. You’ll thank your past self.

First of all, rooms felt very clean. I had no issues with bugs, didn't see anything dirty on the floors. 1 hand towel had a small stain on it but not the biggest deal. The beds are comfy. It looks exactly like on the pics. AC & heat worked great. Bathroom is nice, large mirror and a body mirror. Great lightning inside, it all makes sense where the lights are. There is a fridge. There's hot water, shower has great tiles. Theres a window in the bathroom so you get natural light. There is shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. There is NO body lotion. They do provide hair dryer. Best thing here is the white noise machine that they provide! Because this hotel is located at a MAJOR intersection IN DOWNTOWN San Angelo, you can imagine the noise you will hear inside your hotel room. This felt more like a motel room but totally modern and cozy feeling. I heard trucks, cars, etc, driving ALL night. But definitely appreciate them offering this white noise machine. Otherwise I wouldve struggled to sleep as I did already because I usually need complete silence. But I appreciate that there were no issues with the hotel room. They also have a lounge which has live music at nights & they text us what the hours are, usually 7-9pm or 10pm. Theres a bar. I see they served brunch items from 7am-10am. And maybe snack items throughout the day. Not sure about dinner tho. Parking is easy.

Our family chose this hotel so we could all stay at one location to celebrate my dad and his wife 80th Birthdays. Our stay at Angoria was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we all arrived. The rooms were spotless, modern, and crazy comfortable! The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything we wanted to see and do. We especially loved the private party room where we gathered for the Birthday party. It was beautiful and required minimal decorations! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Angelo and can't wait to return on our next trip!".
